One of the best places to learn to snorkel, Lydgate Beach Park is a fantastic family-friendly beach park in North Kaua'i. With so much to do here, it's the perfect place to bring the littles ones on your family vacation to Hawaii. Play frisbee and fly kites on the large grass field, stop for lunch on a picnic bench, explore bike paths, and see who can build the biggest sandcastle. You'll find a marvellous shallow reef just off shore which is the perfect place to learn to snorkel and discover the hidden wonders of Kaua'i with the whole family.

Climb, walk, jump and slide around this impressive playground featuring all kinds of children's activities. Mini ziplines, intricate climbing areas, monkey bars and bridges among trees - your little ones will have an amazing time. This play area also offers a lot of shade for anyone looking for a little break from the beautiful Kaua'i sunshine. There is also a large grassy area perfect for picnics and family lunches.

"The rooms are clean & the beds are comfortable. With your resort fee you get parking, great pool, 2 Mai Tai's, 2 kid's breakfast buffets, and a great beach. On the beach to the right of the property, there is a tide pool where the kids loved splashing and swimming. The views from the beach are fantastic. It is a very family and kid friendly.
